« On the 40th day of the repose of Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov), Bishop Matthew of Sourozh performed a funeral service at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

March 5, 2024 marked 40 days since the repose of His Eminence Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov).
The funeral Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London was led by Bishop Matthew of Sourozh. Concelebrating with His Grace were: Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Priest Nikita Kozlov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevich.
Liturgical chants were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew, co-served by the clergy, performed a memorial service, after which he addressed the clergy and parishioners, the spiritual children and admirers of Archbishop Anatoly present at the memorial service, with an archpastoral word.
All participants in the memorial service were given calendars for 2024 with biographical photographs of the deceased hierarch, specially issued by the publishing house of the Dormition Cathedral in London for the 40th day of the repose of Archbishop Anatoly.
At the end, a memorial meal took place, in which all participants in the service took part.
