« His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a litia for the newly departed Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov) »

On the evening of March 4, 2024, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed during the evening service at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

The divine service was celebrated by the Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko.

At the end of the service, His Grace Vladyka served a funeral litia for the newly departed carried Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov).

In his brief speech addressed to those present in the church, Vladyka Matthew noted the great importance of the archpastoral labours and ministry of Archbishop Anatoly, which he zealously performed for almost a quarter of a century in the British Isles as a vicar of the Sourozh diocese.

On March 5, on the 40th day of the repose of Bishop Anatoly, a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London, followed by a panikhida.
