On June 27, 2023, at the Dormition Cathedral in London, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh met withRev Canon Dr Jeremy Morris, the National Ecumenical Adviser for the Church of England.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko.

During a long conversation, which took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, the parties discussed a wide range of topical issues of bilateral relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Church of England.
