On the evening of April 30, 2021, on the eve of Holy Saturday, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Matins with the Rite of Burial of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, priest Nil Lyubchenko and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

After the Great Doxology, a procession with the Shroud was performed inside the church, with the singing of the funeral hymn "Holy God".

The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
