On April 30, 2021, on Good Friday, the remembrance of the Holy saving Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Vespers with the Procession of the Shroud of the Savior at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, priest Nil Lyubchenko and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

At the end of the Vespers, while singing the troparion "The Noble Joseph took down Your most pure body from the cross" the Holy Shroud with the image of the burial of Christ was transferred from the altar.

Then His Grace Vladyka served small Compline, during which the canon “On the Crucifixion of the Lord and the Lamentation of the Most Holy Mother of God” was read.

At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed the believers with a word of spiritual edification.

The divine service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
