« On Sunday of the Holy Cross veneration, London Dormition Cathedral was open for visits and individual prayers »

On March 22, 2020, on the 3rd Sunday of the Great Lent, veneration of the Holy Cross, day of memory of the forty martyrs of Sebastia, the Dormition Cathedral of the city of London opened for parishioners' visits and individual prayers.
Parishioners, who visited the Cathedral on that day, were able to light candles, pray for their loved ones, and communicate with the clergy of the church.
The decision to suspend divine services in the churches of the Diocese of Sourozh was made a day before on the basis of an order from the British authorities to combat the epidemic of coronavirus in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
