On Christmas night, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh headed the solemn festive service at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Priest Dimitry Nedotstupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Sergiy Fedorenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.
During the verse after the Holy Communion, His Grace Vladyka honored the right to wear the orarion to Theodore Mishin and Clement Seregin.
Christmas message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was announced, in Russian and English, by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the end of the service, the Archpastor and the co-celebrating clergy prayed in front of the icon of the Nativity of Christ, after which Vladyka Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with a festive word and spiritual edification.
