On January 7, 2020, on the feast of the Nativity of the Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the late Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The divine service was served by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-East of England, and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
During the verse after the Holy Communion, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, announced the Christmas message from Metropolitan Anthony of Korsun and West Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe.
Following the prayer before the ambon, the Archpastor and the clergy of the cathedral sung glorification in front of the image of the Nativity of Christ, after which Vladyka Matthew addressed the faithful with words of preaching and Christmas greetings.
