On January 6, 2020, on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-East of England, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.
At the Matins of the all-night vigil, after reading the Gospel, the Right Reverend Vladyka anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
