On Saturday, September 28, after the Exaltation of the Cross, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator  of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, visited the St. Nicholas Church in Bayonne, New Jersey, where he celebrated the Divine Liturgy.
Archpriest Mikhail Kapchits, Dean of the church, Priest Dimitry Sukhorukov, a cleric of the church, Archpriest Alexy Bocharnikov, Rector of the St. Nicholas Church in Chester (Pennsylvania), spiritual father of the Congress of Cossacks of America, as well as the clergy of the St. Nicholas Cathedral of New York, co-served together with Vladyka.
During the service, Vladyka ordained  readers - Nikolai Arabidze at the St. Nicholas Church in Bayonne and Hilarion Svanidze at the St. Nicholas Church in Chester.
After the communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ, clergy and  believers venerated the Cross, after which the Archpastor addressed those present with a sermon.  A number of church workers and benefactors were awarded by Bishop Matthew with bishops' Distinction letters in recognition of their hard work for the benefit of the parish.
Archpriest Michael greeted Vladyka and, on behalf of the clergy and parishioners, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the joy of praying together with their Archpastor.
During common meal, pop 0 Vladyka continued communicating with the clergy and parishioners.
