On Friday, September 27, on the day of the celebration of the World Exaltation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the New York Cathedral, together with the Cathedral clergy.

After the communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ, the clergy and believers venerated the Cross, after which the Archpastor addressed the audience with a sermon.
