On Thursday, September 26, on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross of the Lord, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA, served, together with co-celebrating clergy, an all-night vigil at the New York Cathedral.

After the Great Doxology, the Holy Cross was brought from the Altar to the middle of the church for veneration by believers,  with the following rite of Exaltation of the cross.

At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew greeted the clergy and parishioners with the upcoming feast.
