July 9, 2019 at a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, chaired by Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, it was decided to call the Most Reverend Hierarchs to attend the Holy Synod at the winter session (September-February) of 2019-2020.  (Journal No.93).

Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, is among the elected archpastors.
