« The Dormition Cathedral in London hosted a screening of the documentary film "Islands. Patriarch Tikhon" »

On January 26, 2025, as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the repose of St.Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral in London were presented with a documentary film produced by the Documentary Film Screening Studio of the Kultura TV Channel - "Islands.  Patriarch Tikhon".

Authors of the project, Vitaly Troyanovsky and Irina Izvolova, deeply researched the life of Patriarch Tikhon, covering not only the works of the chief hierarch, but also tried to reveal the personal human qualities of the Saint. The documentary is accompanied by rare archival footage and recordings of eyewitness accounts.

After watching the film, a cleric of the cathedral, Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, answered questions from parishioners.
