On Sunday, 4 August 2024, London will host a commemorative service and events to mark the 110th anniversary of the birth and 21st anniversary of the death of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom).

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9.30 am at the Cathedral of the Dormition, 67 Ennismore Gardens, London SW7 1NH, followed by a litiya for Metropolitan Anthony.

At 2:00 pm, a panikhida will be served at the grave of the founder of the Diocese of Sourozh at Brompton Cemetery, Fulham Road, London SW10 9UG. 

At 2:30 pm, the opening of the exhibition “Metropolitan Anthony: A Life in Photos” will take place in the cemetery rotunda. 

Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
