« On the eve of the day of remembrance of the Holy Prince Vladimir, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On the evening of July 27, on the eve of the 5th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the Holy Fathers of the Six Ecumenical Councils, the Holy Prince Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Basil in Holy Baptism, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Priest Nikita Kozlov, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik and Deacon Alexander Kapustin.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Anna Kobrina.
During the polyeleos, a reliquary with great Christian relics (a particle of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord, the belt of the Most Holy Theotokos and particles of the holy relics of the chosen saints of God) was brought out from the altar to the center of the church.
After reading the Gospel, the Right Reverend Archpastor anointed the clergy and worshipers with consecrated oil.
