« The Diocesan Administration of the Diocese of Sourozh warns of increasing cases of fake letters and fraudulent calls on behalf of the Primate and the hierarchy of the Russian Orthodox Church »

The Office of the Diocese of Sourozh draws attention to the increasing number of cases of telephone calls and scammers sending fake letters from fictitious email addresses on behalf of the Primate and hierarchy of the Russian Orthodox Church, addressed to parishes of the Diocese of Sourozh. 

The administration of the Sourozh diocese requests that all such incidents, already occurred, be reported to the diocesan office. 

The Diocese of Sourozh intends to contact law enforcement agencies in order to identify the authors of forged letters and initiators of fraudulent phone calls in order to bring them to justice according to the law.
