« On the day of the leave of the leavetaking of Feast of Pentecost a children's Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral »

On June 29, 2024, on leavetaking of Feast of Pentecost, commemoration of the transfer of the relics of St.Theophan, the Recluse of Vyshensky (2002), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London. 
Concelebrating with His Grace were Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch. 
Liturgical chants were performed by the children's choir of the Dormition Cathedral parish school under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova-Nikolau. The chamber choir of the Cathedral under direction of D.S. Tugarinov also took part in the Liturgy. 
Following the prayer behind the ambo, a thanksgiving moleben was served for the end of the school year at the parochial school of the Sourozh diocese Cathedral. The moleben was attended by students, their parents, and school teachers. At the end of the moleben, His Grace the Archpastor greeted the parishioners with the Leavetaking of Pentecost and addressed them with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Vladyka warmly congratulated teachers and students of the parochial school on the completion of the school year and wished everyone a happy summer vacation.
