On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, a cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in London, took part in a meeting of Bishops and Christian leaders at the Armenian Diocesan Centre in London.
The event was organised by representatives of the Church of England - Bishop of Kensington, The Rt Rev’d Dr Emma Ineson, Rev’d Canon Dr William Taylor, Vicar of St John’s Notting Hill & Ecumenical Adviser for the Kensington Episcopal Area and Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of the United Kingdom and Ireland Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, who kindly provided the premises of the spiritual centre for the event.
The participants of the meeting noted that this important event contributed to unity and dialogue between church leaders, strengthening ecumenical ties and cooperation between the communities of Christian denominations represented in the capital of Great Britain.
At the end, a gala dinner was given to those present.
