On the evening of 5th August, 2023, on the eve of the 9th Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, clergy of the UOC, temporarily staying on the territory of the Diocese of Sourozh.
The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the all-night vigil, during the celebration of the polyeleos,  an ark with great Christian shrines (a particle of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the belt of the Most Holy Mother of God and particles of the holy relics of the chosen Saints of God) was carried from the altar to the middle of the Cathedral.
At Matins, after reading the Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
