« Exhibition "Metropolitan Anthony: A Life in Photos" started in London »

On August 4, 2023, an exhibition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) - "Metropolitan Anthony: A Life in Photos" was opened in the rotunda of the Old Brompton Cemetery in London.
After the panikhida at the grave of Metropolitan Anthony, the exhibition was opened by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh. Vladyka addressed those present with a welcoming speech, paying special attention to the life path of the founder of the Diocese of Sourozh, his spiritual labours in the field of Gospel preaching and their significance not only for Orthodox believers living in the British Isles, but also among Christians around the world.
Yana Reznik, coordinator of the exhibition, spoke about the artistic concept of the exhibition, touching upon the main stages of the biography of Metropolitan Anthony.
The male quartet of the choir of the Dormition Cathedral in London, conducted by Dmitry Tugarinov, performed a number of works of Russian sacred and folk music.
The exhibition was visited by A.V. Kelin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Great Britain, diplomats of the Russian Embassy, representatives of the British public, parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral, spiritual children and admirers of Metropolitan Anthony.
The exposition in the rotunda at the cemetery is open from August 5, 12:00-17:00, to August 6, 12:00-16:00.
From August 7th, the exposition will continue in the premises of the Dormition Cathedral in London.
