On the morning of April 15, 2023, on Holy Saturday, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Vespers with the reading of 15 parimias, and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
According to the tradition of Great Saturday, at the Liturgy, after the apostolic reading, the clergy changed their black lenten vestments to white ones.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, bread and wine were consecrated and a prayer for peace in the Holy Land was lifted up, - such prayer is said in the churches of the Russian Orthodox Church every year on Holy Saturday.
At the end of the Liturgy, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko read prayers for the consecration of Easter food and addressed the parishioners with words of a sermon.
