On August 28, 2022, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, headed the patronal celebration in the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God on Mogiltsy, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by Rector Priest Vasily Bakulin, clergy and guests of the church.
After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, a procession with prayer singing took place, at which Vladyka Matthew sprinkled those present with holy water.
At the end of the service, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon and words of spiritual edification.
