On August 14, 2022, on the 9th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of the Procession of the Holy Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the Feast of the All-Merciful Savior and the Most Holy Mother of God, as well as the day of memory of the seven martyrs of Maccabees, their mother Solomonia and their teacher Eleazar, His Grace Bishop  Matthew Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Damian Kruglik, Archpriest Sergei Subbotin and Deacon Sergei Kuznetsov.
After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the veneration of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord was performed.  After that, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.  Then a water-blessing moleben was served and the consecration of honey took place.
