On August 13, 2022, on the eve of the Feast of the Procession of the Holy Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the Feast of the All-Merciful Savior and the Most Holy Mother of God, as well as the day of remembrance of the seven martyrs of Maccabees, their mother Solomonia and their teacher Eleazar, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the United States and Canada, celebrated an evening service with the processsion of the Cross of the Lord in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.

His Grace was assisted by the Rector Archpriest Damian Kruglik, Archpriest Andrey Karpenko, Archpriest Sergei Subbotin, Priest Andrei Tikhonov, and Deacon Sergei Kuznetsov.

After the great doxology, the Holy Cross was brought out from the altar and venerated in the middle of the church.
