On July 7, 2022, on the feast of the Nativity of the glorious Prophet John, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.His Grace was assisted by the Rector of the church, archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy of the church.
After the augmented Litany, the Right Reverend Archpastor offered up a prayer for the restoration of peace.
After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew and the clergy co-celebrating with him sung glorification to the feast, after which Vladyka addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
