« An annual pilgrimage to the venerated icon of the Three-Hands Icon of the Mother of God took place in Birmingham »

On February 26, 2022, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, a one-day annual pilgrimage to the revered copy of the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Mother of God "Three Hands" took place in the Serbian church of St. Prince Lazar in Birmingham.
About two hundred parishioners of various parishes of the Sourozh diocese took part in the pilgrimage.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by archpriest Mikhail Gogolev, Rector of the Parish of All British Saints in Birmingham, Diocese of Sourozh, assisted by archpriest Nenad Popovic (Serbian Orthodox Church), archpriest Timothy Curtis (Archdiocese of Western European Parishes of the Russian Tradition), clerics of the Diocese of Sourozh: archpriest Joseph Skinner, archpriest Gregory Butler, priest Anatoly Vikhrov, protodeacon Philip Turner, deacon Sergius Sokolovsky.  Archimandrite Philip Hall (Patriarchate of Antioch) and archpriest Paul Elliot (ROCOR) prayed at the divine service.  On the day of the Ecumenical Parental Saturday, the Orthodox Church honors the memory of all Orthodox Christians who have departed throughout the ages, therefore, after the Liturgy, a panikhida was also served, after which a moleben with akathist singing was celebrated in front of the revered image of the Most Holy Mother of God "Three Hands".  Rector of the church, Father Nenad, addressed the pilgrims, telling the history of the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Mother of God, located in the Hilandar monastery at Athos, and about the miracles that occurred in front of her icon for 14 centuries.
After the service, the clergy and pilgrims took part in a common meal.
