« Pilgrimage to the birthplace of St. Brigid of Kildare »

On February 12, 2022, on the eve of the feast day of the memory of St. Brigid of Kildare (5th-6th centuries), parishioners of the Church of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, led by the church Rector archpriest Michael Nasonov, made pilgrimage to the birthplace of St. Brigid in Faughart, County Louth.
A moleben was served near the spring and the chapel built on the site of the Saint's birth.  The pilgrims then proceeded to Kilkurry where relics of St. Brigid are kept in the Catholic church.  After fervent prayers at the shrine, all pilgrims were able to venerate a particle of the relics of the Holy patroness of Ireland.
