« On the day of memory of the right believing prince Alexander Nevsky, the Liturgy was celebrated on the Cayman Islands »

On Sunday, September 12, 2021, on the feast of the transfer of the relics of the Holy right believing Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Georgetown, on Grand Cayman Island.
The Divine service in the building of the Anglican Church of St.  George was celebrated by the cleric of the Sourozh diocese, priest Nikolay Evseev, who is on the Cayman Islands on a business trip in connection with his secular work.
At the Liturgy orthodox believers from Serbia prayed and received the Holy Communion.  It is noteworthy that the Serb parishioners, according to their national tradition, baked with their own hands a large service prosphora for the celebration of the Liturgy.  At the end of the service, Father Nikolay delivered a sermon on the theme of the Sunday Gospel reading.  On this day, the memory of the Serbian Holy Hierarchs was also celebrated and Father Nikolay especially warmly congratulated the parishioners present and expressed the hope that through the prayers of the Saints -  right believing Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky, his son right believing Prince Daniel of Moscow and all Serbian saints, the Lord would help to organize the parish life of Orthodox believers on the Cayman Islands.
