On September 12, 2021, on the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the transfer of the relics of the Right-believing Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky (1724), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of the choir master Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
The Liturgy was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
