On August 26, 2021, after the Divine Liturgy, an extended meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Sourozh Diocese, chaired by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, was held at the Dormition Cathedral in London.The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Dean of the diocesan district of the North England and Wales priest Dimitri Nedostupenko, Dean of the diocesan district of South-East England archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the diocesan district of East England archpriest Raphael Armour, Dean of the diocesan district of Central England archpriest Stephen Platt, and Dean of the diocesan district of South West England archpriest Joseph Skinner.
Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch provided simultaneous translation from Russian to English.
During the meeting, His Grace and the members of the Diocesan Council discussed the current affairs of the diocese, and adopted a number of decisions in accordance with the agenda of the meeting.
