On April 28, 2021, on Great Wednesday of the Holy Week, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the last (this year) Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace Vladyka Matthew was assisted by archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, priest Dimitri Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, priest Nil Lyubchenko and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director of the cathedral Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the end of the Liturgy, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed those present in the church with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
On Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday, statutory divine services and the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts were celebrated at the Cathedral.
The divine services were broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
