On April 24, 2021, on the eve of the 6th Sunday of the Great Lent (Palm Sunday), the feast of the Lord's Entry into Jerusalem, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
At the all-night vigil, His Grace was assisted by archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, and deacon Nil Lyubchenko.
After reading the Gospel, the Archpastor performed the traditional consecration of the willow and palm branches.
Before the beginning of the evening service, a moleben and a panikhida were served, during which prayers were offered for the health and repose of Orthodox Christians.
