On January 23, 2021, on the feast day of Saint Theophan, the Recluse of Vyshensky (1894), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
After the prayer before the ambo, the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification, especially noting the spiritual path and works of St. Theophan the Recluse.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
