« From January 25, 2021, Liturgies will be celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral on Sundays and certain church feasts »

From January 25, 2021, due to the severing epidemiological situation in the capital of the Great Britain, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the number of divine services with the participation of parishioners at the Dormition Cathedral in London will be halved.

Divine Liturgies with the presence of believers will be celebrated only on Sundays and certain church feasts.  Such schedule of divine services will continue until the situation with Covid-19 in the city of London improves.

Parishioners who signed up and received confirmation of their participation in the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London on Saturday, January 30, are invited to divert their visit to the Cathedral for Saturday, 23 January, or Sunday, 31 January 2021. Please inform us about your choice by email: cathedralregister@gmail.com

For parishioners who, in accordance with government regulations, are at the group of moderate risk and over 70 years old (clinically vulnerable), separate Liturgies are served monthly. The next service will take place on February 6, 2021, on the feast day of St. Blessed Xenia of St.Petersburg.

Registration is open for Sunday services in February and for the divine service on the feast of the Meeting of the Lord, on Monday 15 February.

The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sundays, according to the approved Rules.

The Cathedral is open for individual prayer daily from 11:00 to 16:00.

Before visiting the church, please read the Government's Guidelines for Safe Visiting of Churches and the Rules for visiting the church.

If you are clinically extremely vulnerable, have symptoms of Covid-19 or a cold - please stay home!
