« On the day of memory of St. Seraphim of Sarov, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On January 15, 2021, on the day of the forefeast of the Epiphany, the day of the repose (1833) and the second uncovering of the relics (1991) of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, miracle worker, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Cathedral cleric, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Following the prayer before the ambo, the Archpastor performed a prayer glorification in front of the ikon of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov containing a particle of his holy relics, donated to the Dormition Cathedral by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II in 1991 during his visit to London.
Due to quarantine restrictions, the divine service was celebrated without the participation of parishioners, behind the closed doors of the church.
