On July 26, 2020, on the 7th Sunday after Pentecost, day of memory of the Holy Fathers of six Ecumenical Councils, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the acting Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-East of England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the parishioners and clergy of the Cathedral with the feast and addressed those present with a word of edification.
The divine service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
After the Divine Liturgy, the cathedral was opened for visits by parishioners and for individual prayer.
Worship services with participation of parishioners will be held every Sunday.  Due to the need to comply with government rules on leaving the quarantine, those wishing to take part in the Liturgy should read Rules for visiting the Cathedral.
