« On Sunday of the Prodigal Son, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh headed the Liturgy at the London Cathedral »

On February 16, 2020, Sunday of the Prodigal Son, Day of memory of Equal-to-the-Apostles Nicholas, Archbishop of Japan, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Severian Geras (Chisinau Diocese), Priest Sergiy Fedorenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Dimitry Tugarinov.

After  the prayer before the ambon, Vladyka and co-serving clergy sung glorification to the feast of the Meeting of the Lord.

At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew congratulated everyone with the feast and addressed the believers with a word of edification.
