On October 28, 2020, on the day of commemoration of St. Athanasius the Confessor, Bishop of Kovrov (1962), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed and communed the Holy Mysteries of Christ during the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The divine service was celebrated by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese.
From October 2020, parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral are able to attend Saturday and Sunday Liturgies, as well as services on the Twelve and Great Feasts.  Evening services are still held behind closed doors, without the participation of parishioners.
