« Clergy and parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral congratulated Archpriest Joseph Skinner with his name's day and Marina Bezmenova - with her 60th anniversary »

On January 12, 2020, on the day of memory of the holy righteous Joseph the Betrothed, David the King and James, brother of the Lord, the Sunday Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London. The divine service was headed by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England.
January 12 is a special date for the London Cathedral - it is the name's  day of Father Joseph and the birthday of the Cathedral's Choirmaster, Marina Bezmenova, who celebrates her 60th anniversary this year.
At the end of the divine service, the oldest cleric of the Cathedral, Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, on behalf of the Rector of the cathedral, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, clergy and parishioners, addressed Father Joseph and Marina Vasilievna with congratulatory speech. Warmly congratulating the heroes of the occasion, Father Maxim noted their remarkable personal qualities, ardent faith and high professionalism.  Father Maxim handed bouquets of white roses to Father Joseph and Marina and proclaimed "many years" to them.
