On September 19, 2019, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, arrived in Canada. The archpastoral visit began with a visit to the Patriarchal metochion of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia in the city of Toronto, Ontario.At the entrance to the church, Vladyka was met by the Rector, Archpriest Sergei Rasskazovsky. Vladyka Matthew examined the temple and venerated the holy icons and relics, after which a conversation took place with the rector of the metochion, at which various issues of church and parish life were discussed. The Archpastor is accompanied by his personal secretary N.V. Trubnikov.
