On February 15, 2019, on the feast of the Meeting of the Lord God and Our Savior Jesus Christ, the Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh and Bishop Agafangel of Norilsk and Turukhansk, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.

Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Matthew Arnold (Cyprus Orthodox Church), Archpriest Alexander Kurnasov, cleric of the Church of the Prophet Elijah at the Novgorod metochion in Moscow,  Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West England, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary  of the Diocese of Sourozh, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Victor Nikiforov co-celebrated with Right Reverend Vladykas.

The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova.

After the communion verse,  Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Cathedral keyholder and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch announced the message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill on the occasion of the Orthodox Youth Day, in Russian and in English.

At the end of the service, the Most Reverend Archpastors and the serving clergy sung glorification to the feast, after which Vladyka Matthew warmly welcomed Vladyka Agafangel who had arrived from Norilsk with a group of pilgrims headed by him. As a sign of brotherly love, Vladyka Matthew presented to the distinguished guest an image of the martyr Grand Duchess Elizaveta Feodorovna, grand daughter of the Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. In turn, Vladyka Agafangel thanked for the cordial welcome and the opportunity to pray together at the Liturgy on the feast of the Meeting of the Lord, and presented the icon of the holy martyr Vasily Mangezeisky as a gift to the Cathedral.
