On December 8, 2019, on the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, Leavetaking of the feast of the Entrance into the Temple of the Most Holy Mother of God, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vadim Zakrevsky, Rector of the Parish of the Holy Royal Martyrs in Monaco, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Deacon Antony Ivashin, Deacon Victor Nikiforov and Deacon Nil Lyubchenko.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the cathedral under the direction of Marina Bezmenova.
After the prayer before ambon, the archpastor and the coserving clergy sung the glorification to the feast.
At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the parishioners with Sunday and addressed those present in the Cathedral with a word of preaching and spiritual edification.
