On November 2, 2019, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, paid a fraternal visit to the retired Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov).
Vladyka Matthew warmly communicated with Vladyka Anatoly and conveyed to him cordial good wishes from the clergy and laity of the Diocese of Sourozh.
From 1990 to 2017, Archbishop Anatoly performed his bishop's ministry as vicar of the Sourozh Diocese with the title "Archbishop of Kerch" and carried out his archpastoral care for believers in the cities of London and Manchester.
According to the resolution of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church of May 4, 2017, Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch, Vicar of the Diocese of Sourozh, has retired due to health issues, with gratitude for his many years of church service.
