On January 20, 2019, on the 34th Sunday after Pentecost, on the Epiphany, Synaxis of the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh visited the parish of St. Aidan and St. Chad in the city of Nottingham and led the Divine Liturgy.

During the divine service, His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Gregory Butler, Rector of the church, Priest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Protodeacon Vadim Sancevitch and Deacon Paul Wood.

After the prayer before the ambon, the Right Reverend Vladyka led the service of the great water consecration and addressed the church members with words of preaching and spiritual edification.

Father Gregory, Rector of the temple, has warmly welcomed Vladyka Matthew and the serving clergy, thanking His Grace for his archpastoral visit and the opportunity for prayerful communion during the Divine Liturgy.
