« On the day of memory of St. Seraphim of Sarov, the Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served the Liturgy at the children's diocesan Orthodox camp »

On August 1, 2018, on the day of acquiring relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh paid an archpastoral visit to the international children's orthodox camp of the Diocese of Sourozh named after St. Seraphim of Sarov and led the Divine Liturgy there.

His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Stefan Platt, rector of St. Nicholas Church in Oxford,  Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and deacon Alexei Kostyanovsky.

Liturgical chants were sung by children's and youth choir conducted by Anna Platt.

At the end of the divine service, the Most Reverend Archpastor and the clergy were invited to a breakfast wirh pupils of the camp. After the meal, Vladyka Matthew examined peculiarities of the camp arrangement, participation of children in various activities,  living conditions. He also spoke to children and their minders.
