The Most Reverend Matthew, Bishop of Sourozh, headed the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London. During the Liturgy Archbishop Isidor of Hierapolis (Jerusalem Patriarchate) guardian of the Holy Sepulcher, prayed in the altar of the cathedral and received the Holy Communion.

Liturgical chants were sung by the Choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Anna Kobrina.

At the end of the service, His Grace Vladyka Matthew addressed the congregation on this memorable day, noting, in particular, the joy of joint prayer with the representative of the Jerusalem Church - birth place of Christianity and the mother of all Christian Churches.

Later on that the day, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh led the funeral service at the grave of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony at the Old Bromton Cemetery.  After the service, Vladyka Matthew addressed the clergy and numerous spiritual children and followers of the ever-memorable Avva with sermon.
