On August 19, 2018, on the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord and SaviorJesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Eminence was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Diocese, Priest Evgeny Selensky, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Deacon Vladimir Castravet and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Marina Bezmenova.
The sermon after the Gospel reading was delivered by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko.
After the last prayer, His Eminence blessed fruits and headed the feastal glorification.
At the end of the service, the Archpastor congratulated the parishioners and clergy of the cathedral with the feast and addressed them with a word of edification.
