On July 8, 2018, on the 6th Sunday after Pentecost, day of the memory of the righteous princes Pyotr and Fevronia, Murom miracle workers, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Eminence was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Sergiy Fedorenko, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Sergiy Sokolovsky.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under direction of M.V. Bezmenova.
During the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Matthew ordained reader Victor Nikiforov as a deacon.
At the end of the service, the Archpastor and the clergymen co-celebrating with him performed the rite of praise to the holy righteous princes Pyotr and Fevronia.
At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew congratulated parishioners and clergy of the cathedral with the feast and addressed all present with a word of edification.
