On July 3, 2018, A.V. Yakovenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, met in his residence with His Grace Bishop Panteleimon of Orekhovo-Zuevo and Bishop Matthew of Sourozh.

During the meeting, the parties discussed relationship between Russia and Britain in  secular and ecclesiastical spheres, discussed issues of church charity and social service.

Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, took part in the meeting.
